thanks to ember for the suggestions and urging to deal with this... what do you all think about the following, as a moderation policy for the breaks tribe:
- all event listings should go in, well, listings or they'll be deleted
- posts about new mixes or your own music releases are fine (we like music)
- this should all be at least vaguely related to breakbeat
i don't see why anyone would object to these changes, but i'll float the idea first before i go wildly deleting stuff. i don't mind a bit of moderation work if it encourages people to organize things better as time goes on.

Oh, and sorry for a previous comment (about hit-and-run posters) that was intended more as a generalization than anything specific to this tribe. Reviewing the BSPs here, they're mostly from well-respected folk and for the most part, fairly on-topic to the tribe. Still a shame that they predominate however. So I'll do my part to dig up some discussion fodder...
